The North Texas Crime Commission (formerly the Greater
Dallas Crime Commission) was established in 1950. We
believe proper enforcement and enlightened prevention
can be achieved through a comprehensive and cooperative
effort involving concerned citizens and law enforcement
agencies.
We also provide a form for the exchange of information
between local law enforcement agencies and federal
agencies such as the FBI, DEA and the U.S. Marshals
Service. Be we can only accomplish our vital mission
with your support
What Does NTCC Do?
If you live or work in
North Texas, the NTCC is working to keep you safe.
We operate the North Texas Crime
Stoppers®
Rewards Program, which pays rewards for information
about criminal activity and forwards the information to
the appropriate law enforcement agency.
Under the umbrella of the North Texas
Crime Stoppers®, we operate the North Texas
Campus Crime Stoppers®, which pays rewards to
students who report criminal activity on campus and
forwards the information to the appropriate law
enforcement agency.
We develop and promote crime scene
re-enactments to highlight and help to bring resolution
to unsolved crimes.
We bring important criminal justice
issues to the attention of the state's legislature.
We provide support to law enforcement
for advanced training equipment.
We support programs that provide
special law enforcement community based training and
intervention.
We Get Results
The NTCC accomplishes it mission
through the work of various committees comprised of
volunteers from the community, law enforcement,
corporate partners, and civic and educational
institutions. We also form affiliations with groups to
receive and/or manage grant funds supporting law
enforcement.
